My name is Wilhelm Mead, and I am the owner of Barrel Hire.

I have worked in the wine and vineyard industry for over 10 years. During this time, I managed a successful Hampshire vineyard that went on to produce award-winning English still wines, that received recognition abroad. It is thanks to this successful venture that I have been fortunate enough to develop excellent relationships with many still in the industry today.

I have acquired my own vineyard in recent years which is located in Suffolk, but operate my barrel hire business in Hampshire. While I cater primarily for London and the south of England, I will always endeavour to meet your needs to the best of my ability.

The barrels I have for hire were used in the production of wines that were later sold to P&O Cruises, Waitrose and Berry Brothers. I take pride in offering a friendly and relaxed but professional and punctual service to all of my clients, resulting in many happy customers that have returned time and again.

It is my hope that the inclusion of my stunning oak barrels will add that extra something to your function or wedding, regardless of its size. It is hugely important to me that my customers are left feeling completely at ease and above all, satisfied with the service offered. The barrels are meant to bring additional life to their event, to set it apart from the rest - and receiving the best service goes hand it hand with that.
